UH law school needs applicants

The Houston Chronicle is reporting that “New UH law school dean will seek to boost applicants.”

Basically, their admissions office is receiving 32% fewer applicants than just five years ago. As a result, the school is hiring Leonard Baynes, a professor at St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, N.Y., as the new dean of the UH Law School. This would make him the first African-American dean at that school.

It should be interesting to see if it makes a difference.
