Tips for study habits

Is your child having trouble with after-school study time? A recent study suggests that “changing study locations may help students retain information better.” (from Gina Carroll in BlogHer; originally reported in The New York Times).

So here’s my non-expert question: is it better to have one set study location? or is it better to give a child a selection?
